1. Template Editor V2 (New)

Create beautiful eBay listing templates using a modern block-based editor:

The new Template Editor V2 is available under eBay → Listing Templates. Your existing V1 templates continue to work unchanged.

2. eBay Catalog API Integration

Find the right eBay product match faster with new catalog search features:

  • Automatic GTIN Detection – Enter a UPC, EAN, or ISBN and WP-Lister automatically searches the eBay catalog
  • Category Filtering – Narrow search results by category
  • Supported Markets – US, UK, Germany, Australia, Canada, France, Italy, Spain

Important for existing users: To enable Catalog API features, you must re-authorize your eBay account to grant the new sell.inventory scope. Visit eBay → Settings → Accounts and click "Reauthorize" next to your account. See our Re-Authorization Guide for step-by-step instructions.

3. Modern Admin Interface

The entire WP-Lister admin has been rebuilt with modern technology:

System Requirements

  • WordPress 6.0 or higher
  • WooCommerce 8.0 or higher
  • PHP 8.1 or higher (PHP 8.4 fully supported)

Note: PHP 8.0 and earlier are no longer supported. If you're on an older PHP version, please upgrade before updating to 4.0.

Upgrading from 3.8.x

The upgrade from 3.8.x is automatic and non-destructive:

  1. Your data is preserved – Existing listings, profiles, templates, and settings remain intact
  2. New features available immediately – Setup Wizard, modern UI, error badges
  3. Catalog API requires re-authorization – One-time action to enable new GTIN search features (optional)
  4. No migration needed – The upgrade handles everything automatically

Recommended post-upgrade steps:

  1. Visit eBay → Settings → Accounts and click "Reauthorize" to enable Catalog API features
  2. Review your listing profiles – new item specifics options are available
  3. Explore eBay → Listing Templates to try Template Editor V2
  4. Check eBay → AI Assistant if you want to set up AI-powered help

Known Limitations

  • AI Assistant currently supports Anthropic Claude only (OpenAI integration planned for future release)
  • Setup Wizard covers common scenarios; complex setups (multiple accounts, unusual category requirements) may need manual configuration
  • Template Editor V2 creates new-format templates; existing V1 templates continue working but use the classic editor
