I added new categories to my eBay store but they don’t show up in WP-Lister.

Please read before using “Refresh details” (August 2026).

“Refresh details” clears the stored eBay category tree for the selected site before it downloads the current one. If that download does not complete — for example while eBay’s category API is unavailable — the list is left empty, and using the link again repeats the same step. A fix is being prepared.

Your own category assignments are stored separately and are not deleted by this. They become visible again once a download completes.

Until the fix ships: use “Refresh details” only when you actually need fresh data from eBay, and not while you are seeing eBay API errors. If your category list is already empty, please contact support instead of using the link again.

Unfortunately, WP-Lister doesn’t get notified automatically by eBay when you create new store categories on your eBay account. 

To refresh your store categories you need to visit WP-Lister -> Settings -> Accounts and click on “Refresh details”. This will update all site specific details like categories, payment methods and shipping services for the eBay site selected.
