eBay error: "Coin Condition (2) is a required field" (#21920355)

If you're listing an ungraded ("raw") coin on eBay US and verification fails with:

"Coin Condition (2) is a required field. (#21920355)" — or, for graded coins, "Numerical grade [4] is a required field" —

here's what's going on and why no setting in WP-Lister will fix it today.

What's happening

eBay US requires a condition descriptor on coin listings (a "Coin Condition" field for ungraded coins, or grader/grade fields for graded coins). WP-Lister currently does not send this field for any coin category — it isn't wired up yet, on either the Graded or Ungraded condition.

Because the gap is in how WP-Lister builds the listing, no amount of refreshing account details, changing the listing profile, enabling the enhanced Item Specifics interface, or switching between "Use Profile Setting" and a specific condition will make the field appear. There is currently no coin category where this works cleanly.

Is this an eBay restriction?

No — and this is worth being precise about, because it's easy to read it the other way. eBay US does support raw/ungraded coin listings with this field; WP-Lister simply doesn't ship support for it yet. This is our gap, not something eBay is blocking.

What we're doing about it

Coin condition descriptor support is on our roadmap. We can't give a firm date — the remaining blocker on our end is test access to a US-registered eBay seller account to verify the fix end-to-end, not a decision not to build it.
