Multi-Channel Fulfillment (MCF)
What is Multi-Channel Fulfillment?
Multi-Channel Fulfillment is Amazon's service to enable you to fulfill orders from sales channels other than Amazon.com (such as your company website) using the inventory that you have stored in the Amazon fulfillment center.
So if you are a seller using FBA, you can now have not only your Amazon orders fulfilled by Amazon, but orders placed in WooCommerce as well. If you are using WP-Lister for eBay, you can even fulfill eBay orders using your FBA stock automatically - and your order on eBay will be marked as shipped with tracking details as well.
Visit Amazon > Settings, where as an FBA seller you should already have Enable FBA set to "Yes", so you should see the options below. Find the option labeled Enable Multi-Channel Fulfillment, set it to "yes" - and you're all done.
How does it work?
What about tracking details?
Since both WP-Lister for eBay and Amazon work together, when Amazon ships the item via FBA, WP-Lister for Amazon will not only mark the order as completed in WooCommerce - it will also notify WP-Lister for eBay which will then send shipping date and tracking details to eBay automatically.
The tracking information from Amazon only appears in the FBA Shipment Reports and by default, those reports are only fetched daily. With that default behavior, eBay shipping information will not be updated until this report is fetched. To update your eBay orders more quickly, you should visit your WP-Lister for Amazon settings and set the Request FBA reports option to "Every 3 hours".
